Biography of Liau Yuan Wei

Liau Yuan Wei, 14, was born in Singapore on 1 Feb 1995. Presently, he is studying in Hwa Chong Institution. He has a very hectic and stressful school life as he has lots of commitments to fulfill, like FPSP, LEP, ACE, Jap, and NPCC. He is selfish, boastful and reckless, yet quick-witted.

His EP3 is NPCC and he is a Lance Corporal now. He feels that the training is extremely vigorous. He has to do lots of pumping and tons of tiring drills. He also feels that campcraft his difficult as he has to remember lots of stuff like the many method to tie a knot.

He also enrolls in LEP, in which he has to read and write poems. He thinks that it is neither difficult nor stressful as the session is short (1h) and is very slack. Furthermore, the poems are easy to read and understand.

He also participates in FPSP and he thinks it is hectic as the practice session is short (2h) but his group has to find a good underlying problem, brainstorm and write down solutions, choose the best solution and present the action plan.

He also goes for his 3rd language, which is Japanese. He thinks that it is difficult to learn as understand as the session is long (3h45min) and he cannot remember a lot of vocabulary and grammar. Moreover, he always gets bad grades for his tests. Thus, he is planning to quit.

He also has to do ACE, which, in his opinion, is easy to accumulate as the teachers suggest lots of ACE opportunities and he usually copy and paste information from the Internet. In addition to his ACE, he has to do assignments, which is not a lot as most are gone through in class and the teachers cover the syllabus quickly enough.

In his free time, he plays Defense of the Ancients. He likes to play dota as there are lots of heroes to choose from and lots of items to buy. He feels that the game graphics is average and can be improved as the pixels are too big sometimes.

He can be selfish at times as he doesn’t like to lend things or help others unless he can gain something. He feels that helping others without a reward is a waste of time and effort. He also can be boastful sometimes ad he likes to brag about his achievements to show that he is always better than others. He also exaggerates failures to shows that he is so pathetic that others must feel concerned towards him.

He is also reckless as he doesn’t know when not to spout nonsense and when to keep quiet. He has angered parents many times because of his rough behaviour. He also does things that are not allowed without thinking of the consequences, thereby getting himself into trouble.

However, he is quick-witted as he can think of solutions on the spot. For examples, last year’s Projects Day semi-final, his friend sprouted nonsense about the invention being lousy and he had to interrupt his friend to say that the group’s invention was not original but an improvement of the original.

His motto is, “Nothing less”. He follows his motto by putting his every effort in what he does and making sure his end products are flawless. He also tries to gain the most knowledge from the lessons and achieve the best outcomes in whatever he does. To him, it means everything.

I feel that he is a likeable boy whom you can befriend but just don’t be in his bad books or make him extremely angry. He is an average, normal boy with flaws and strengths.

Wa, so long nvr update blog. Ok! On Sat, my parents went to JB with friends till midnight. So, me and my bro go play dota and PS2. We bought Pizza Hut to eat (around 15 dollars), and it was delicious. We were scolded when my parents came back as we were supposed to sleep earlier, not play PS2 and take a shower. So, we ganna punished and scold damm fierce.
On Sun, we went to Jurong Point for a shopping spree. First, we went to NUTC Xtra- ts was damm big- and bought a lot of stuff, like shirts, a pot, a 'magic' towel, potato chips, tsp/tbl ... It cost around 70dollars with discount.
After that, we went to a health store and bought medicine mainly. Examples are: sauce, walnut biscuits, sweets and oral medication for removing pimples. Then, we went to eat dinner and went home.
On Mon, I realised that I forgot to revise for LE test and mug during recess. The poem tested was Uphill and the questions came out form our revision ex. that he didn't ask us to do. Walao! Some people thought that Uphill will not be tested cause got questions regarding Uphill, so they nvr mug Uphill. I anyhow go crap around for the essay.
For lunch, I ate MacDonald with MSB, cause got promotion on Straits Times (Give coupon with the money, and can get one item free.) I took advantaged of it and go out eat with my friend. I was full when I finished as there was too much food to eat.

The yellow eyes, that I now sported, gazed upon the face of my new self. I realised that I had just transformed into an anthropomorphic lizard! I was quite surprised and excited that my dream was fulfilled- to become an anthropomorphic lizard. "Cool!" Shocked and amazed to see that I could still talk, I tested my voice, noticing the slight deepness in my voice. I also realised that I had both lizard and human instincts and that my jet-black hair had traces of brown colour on it, like the colour of my scales. I looked at my body, smiling at the muscular biceps and the swishing long tail.

My hand ran over my biceps as I blinked and flexed my muscles with a wide lizard-like smirk. “I may just get to like this..."

YTD, I bet for my sabbatical. I wanted to go to '29 Things You Don't Learn In Your Maths Class'. Then, I went for my SYF training. We had a new instructor, new sets and new blockings. We had to be 'innovative' and also people ganna scolded cause leave without permission and articulation problems.
2day, got eng whcih was horny in ur group as got Modi who said lots of sick stuff. We would suppose to write a paragraph of somebody in the shopping centre and we wrote about a chio bu. Also sci lesson was horny as people asked lots of sick stuff, like where's the helm and what's its purpose, and we said lots of sick jokes too. And, I got my results for sabbatical. I went for 'Thinking'. Later, I went for a simple badging ceremony @ Ortus Rm. My time slot was actually 3:40pm-3:50pm, but ganna delayed and so my chi-chat was held later. I underwent a mini interview, and I got my badge.

2day, i went 2 the CNY celebration party with non-singaporeans. All CMC and councillors had 2 attend. There were several games and performances, after which the lucky draws and the lao yusheng. Then, we started eating the buffet. Overall, I liked the performances but not the games and so it was a bit boring.

YTD, Mr Toh told us who failed his test, and I was lucky not 2 fail. But half in our class did failed and they had to write a letter to him explaining why u fail and then u can take the re-test. (It sucks as u can only get 50% of ur actual score. That means that if u don't get full mrks, u failed.) I thought it was unfair as he always gives us moderate questions in assignments but extreme hard questions in tests. And also, the first page of the test was chicken feet but the next page was very difficult. I don't think I can get an A1.
For EP3 2day, we had a briefing with the teachers, then we played with the sec 1s. There are a bit less than double the no. of sec 1s this year than last year. Then, we had a 'feast' 2gether.(Actually, it was pizzas and soft drinks.)

2day, we had Maths test and Eng test. The Maths test was a bit tough. The starting was easy peasy but then from question 7 onwards, it became harder. I couldn't do Q10 and bonus question and i got a careless mistake and I guessed Q9. At most i can get A1 but the worst case scenario is getting a C6.
The text for Eng test was easy to understand but the questions need to infer a lot. The summary was okay but i got too much points and wasted too much time there, so I forgot to check.

2day, sci lesson even more horny sia. And also got 2 periods and got one group presenting through ppt about chapt 14. LOL! Morning, I took 302 bus and it was freezing cold, so cold no one wanted to sit inside. It was like 10 degreeC. Brzzzzzz!
2day's sci lesson very horny cause we'll learning chapter 14: Sexual Reproduction in Humans. Wei Xuan can't wait to go to this topic and keep on saying faster lah, when ms teo summarising the digestive system. Modi said:" Confirm wei xuan can correct teacher's mistakes and add some extra bits of info." LOL! Then, she even asked if we had questions about sex and ya some funny questions came out. I said that what's happening in gay sex and lesbian sex. Quite sick, lol. Then, she go through puberty. Boring, except when she asked what changes are there in puberty of males and females and I said development of breasts. lol! Then people started creating sick jokes and ya, chaos just happened. Quite sick, don't u agree?
Also, my group was very lucky in Chinese Drama cause all the rest of the groups acted out their scripts but we read out aloud only. And zhou lao shi say we did very well as we read well and loud and no one was talking when we presented our script. Even worse, group 3 did not very good and ganna scolded by teacher, so they need to redo and present it on Fri.

Chi Bi 2

YTD, I watched Chi Bi 2. It was a great movie with a combination of love, war and tatics. The main message behind it was that: in wars, no one actually wins; everyone lose, as can be seen by the heavy losses of both sides. I liked the part when the allied force crashed through burning boats into the enemy's, making the boats explode violently. I could see that the soilders were willing to scarifice for their country as some died to burn down the enemy ships and defences. I was deeply shocked yet touched after watching this good film. I will recommend this to all my friends and relatives.

Birthday

YTD, I clebrated my birthday with my family. We went to watch Chi Bi 2 at Lot 1 in the afternoon (strangely it was still full house) and then we ate a hefty dinner. After that, we bought a cake and went home. We ate the birthady cake around 9pm. It was quite a simple party, just me and my family, but was still pleasant.

This year's CNY was okey dokey for me. I played my PSP like shit and tried blackjack, cheat and majong. I also watched some movies, one of which is Chi Bi. On chu xi, I went to my grandfather's house for renuion dinner and shou ye. On chu yi, I went to pray at my ancestors in Bedok then go to my grandfather's house for luch cum dinner. On chu er, I stayed at my house for a renuion dinner with my relatives. There was too much food at we had to eat them up for dinner the following 2 days. On chu san, I went to my friends house to play dota while my dad played majong from 1:30pm to 11:00pm. It was kind of crazy. I also got a hong bao from MSB's mother. (Shocked!)

LAN

On 17 Jan, I went to LAN at Bukti Timah Plaza, with Johnny, Henry and Leong Hui. I played two games.
The first one was -arsp. I was the Sentinel with Leong Hui and I zong Tiny. Leong Hui- Terrorblade; Johnny- Obsidian; Henry- Undying. I started farming in top lane while Johnny went mid lane and the rest went bot. I farmed until lvl 10 when Johnny backstabbed me and I died. I then bought arcane ring and power threads. Overall in the early and mid game, my team was losing as we died some times but managed to kill some.
On lvl 16, I bought my assault cuirass and then Johnny wanted to kill me but it was vice versa. Then, in the late game, i bought a HoT, Reaver and Hyperstone and I started owning. Terrorblade also started killing and bought Butterfly, Mkb and Eye of Skadi. So, we won in the end with more kills.
The second game was 5v5, -apsp. I choose Earthshaker and went bot lane. I was doing fine but not very well throughout the game. In the end, I lost cause my team one person had to go. I only bought BoT, Vladmir's, Arcane Ring and 2 Bracer.
There was once that I got a double kill by killing Henry and Leong Hui at bot lane. I ultied at them with their army of creeps and they instantly minus half hp. Then I Enchant Totem and they were stunnned as I wacked them. I killed one. The other one tried to run but I Fissure and then move up to kill him. And I got double kill.
My team got a Techie who first blood and double killed the enemy. He put land mines on the top lane and keep on using clarity potion for another mine.
My team also got a Gondar who owned in the end with Beyond God like streak but died in the end.
Overall, I played like hell in LAN and I liked it.

My favourite type of heroes are those DPS heroes, like Razor, Viper, Clink, Dwarven Sniper, Luna, Shadow Fiend. I sometimes do try out hero killers, like Venomancer and Rikimaru. Though I like ranged heroes, I'm now trying Rikimaru, then Necrolic and Earthshaker. I just love stuuuuuns. So gay, can't do anything. Maybe Blizzard should create some item that can cast an AOE stun.

Also, the newest map 6.58 just came out ytd. Go get it at getdota.com.

This year my new year's resolutions are:

Get a Gold with Honours for SYF
Get MSG lesser than 1.5 for whole year
Try to clock at least 20h of CIP
Get a A for Projects Day (Though I find that it's sucking my time-like mana burn?)
Save up 25 dollars (my mom wont buy it 4 me) for a interesting book.
Catch the movie: Chi Bi (2)
More than 8 for ACE and OP each for every subject.
A big A for Conduct Grade (easily achievable)

I noe some are shit as they r easily done but some r challenging.

Also, I'm a Welfare Sect for this year. I don't really noe what 2 do-wait-its I have nothing 2 do yet. This job is not really fun other than organising CIP.

YTD, I was in DC (Drama Centre) from 7-9pm for HIC. It was full house with people standing. I think I did my best as I had projected my voice, added actions and emotions and there were no slip-ups. Our group won a prize, that is Best Actor Award for Yao Nian (the creature) cause he really impressed the auidence. Actually he was a supporting role, but the judges wanted 2 give him the best actor award because there were no other actor who was better than him. Even though we didn't win the overall prize, but I still felt happy as I learnt a lot through this, made friends and enjoyed myself. In all, this HIC was a successful one.

What the hell? I'm dead beat cause for Mon, Tues and Wed this week, I had 2 stay back 4 like 9+ pm. That's damn late lah. And also, I am also very sick and tired as Yl and Russel and Suhas keep on talking and talking... And then they started taking photos of me and edit the images to some sort of shit. After that, they even mimick me with a much higher pitch. I told them 2 shut their trap up but... Even worse, YL tried 2 kiss me, act like aqua and masterbed backstage!!! I was like so freaking tired.

Later on, he and Sherwin had a row because of some misunderstanding. It was YL taking Sherwin's costume, so the latter accused him of stealing. YL showed him another suitable costume but I do not noe if that 'costume' is real or not. Sherwin was so angry, he shouted loudly backstage, then hid himself in his classroom and it took some persuasion for him 2 come back. Our teachers-in-charge was informed and they told us ot 2 repeat that type of misunderstanding again. Luckily we found him, or else our play will fail and we will be embarrassed. Thank God it didn't happened.

What is the measure of a man? Are we judged by our actions alone? Can we redeem ourselves from previous wrongdoings, or are we forever condemned for our sins? At what price can redemption be attained?

From Oedipus Rex to King Lear to Death of a Salesman, the greatest playwrights of all time have always sought to answer these questions. The protagonists in these plays struggle to atone for their transgressions through providing their humble services to the society to negate their past wrongdoings.

Following in the fine tradition of these illustrious predecessors, a group of talented young dramatists from the English Drama Club have penned a modern classic to explore these issues. In their play, entitled Vindicare, themes of atonement, redemption, vengeance and guilt are investigated.

As the play opens, a dedicated doctor, Daniel Smith, attempts to exorcise his inner demons by overworking himself. He compulsively stretches himself to the limit, embarking on a one-man mission to save lives.

At the same time, a righteous judge, Samuel Roth, searches relentlessly for his only sister who has been missing for 21 years, presumed to be kidnapped. He vows to track down the abductors and bring them to justice.

Both attempt to lead their own conflicted lives as Judge Roth pursues vengeance while Dr. Smith searches for vindication. By sheer chance, their paths converge, and their lives intertwine, resulting in a complex web of intrigue where the lines differentiating the protagonist and antagonist are blurred. The play culminates in an answer to the ultimate question: What is the measure of a man?

Tiring! I had 2 rehearse for the HIC (Humanities in Celebration) for more than 144 hours(not kidding), since I was in Drama. I had to rehearse like 12 times at least. Now, I'm wacking games-com, PSP, gameboy etc everyday! For com, I dont play dota anymore- I played mini games, like TD, hero seige, etc. Those are what other people create and some was fun like Green Circle, 12 hero seige and Burbenorg TD etc. But others sucks like hell and they set the difficulty too high. For PSP, I played Bomberman, Luxor, 7 Wonders of the World (Weird name for a weird game), Underground Racing, Sonic etc. My mother was also addicted to the PSP too, playing Luxor and 7 Wonders of the World. For Gameboy, I can only play FireRed, so I didn't play much and usually I only trained my Pokemons.

Yeah! At last I finished my exams. I think I did quite well on History, LE and English, but my Geog was not so well done. For History, I could do the 2 essay questions as I memorised the facts and examples. For LE, I did a study pacakage on the 3 poems and Lamb To The Slaughter, thus I knew what to write for LE, except The Village By The Sea (Actually, I didn't revisie much as I thought it was 2 much for me.) For English, I found the Summary Writing and Editing very easy as I could find all the ans (or so I thought). For Geog, I forgot 2 bring my protractor and calculator, thus I had 2 guess around 4 questions. In all, I think that the exams are quite simple and easy for me. I think I should be able to get lower than 1.5 if not 1 for this year MSG.

2day, our Maths teacher was very kind 2 give us 2 periods of free time. I played 7-up with my 6 friends and Mr Yong joined in 2. We played 4 like 0.5h and went up 2 390 counts, then we skipped 2 700 counts. It was crazy at that time, but it was fun able 2 relax be4 exams. The other students in my class played monkey in the back with Naboo n later Eugene with a ball of paper.
But 好景不常, later got History remedial and our class n 1I class had 2 go 2 LT3. Ms Teo asked lots of question and about half could not ans as they didnt have the script, so they had 2 stand up 4 like half hour. I also had 2 ans but managed 2 say it correctly, so dont need 2 stand. So bo liao lah!

Jap Written Test

2day, I did the Jap written test. Okay lah, not 2 easy but not 2 diffiuclt. But in the kanji section, there were 5 questions that I dont noe and there were4 questions I dont noe in listening. I left 6 questions blank too. However, my particles, adjectives and verbs sections were all right anf I managed 2 solve 90% of the questions. I think I will get around 5+8.5+3+4+6+10+5+9+4+6+10+6=76.5 mrks which is A1.

2day, after sch, I played catch the duster with MSB. I accidentally threw the duster 2 high n it hit the rotating fan. Then it spun towards the noticeboard and hit with a loud bang, after which it dropped down on the floor. Holy Shit! Luckily only a small part of the plastic broke off and it was not badly damaged.

My friends and I were insied 156 going 2 Jap when we saw... the Bishan Gay! He, around 40 years old, was wearing a green T-shirt with a white short and wore a pair of spectacles. He was standing near the front door while we wre at the back of the bus, so both of us could see each other clearly. He was staring straight at us with that glance of... desire and wish, making me want 2 puke. I saw him looking intensely at us and my friend turned my head around so as 2 stop letting me get a good look on him. He also told me that the man appeared in newspapers a few weeks ago.
Later, we and the Bishan Gay alighted and waited 4 92, which came in less than a minute. Just as we were walking towaards the bus, we saw him taking out his Nokia Nseries and trying to take a picture of us!!! We were quite shocked by this gay action and rushed 2 board the bus. Dangerous Act

YTD, I was at a temple 2 pray and I saw a kid climbing a fence 2 go down a big canal. He waded in the dirty and murky water and waved his hands 4 everyone 2 see. Some other children were laughing at his act, but in my opinion, he had done a dangerous act. At that time, it was low tide but the rain was coming and he could be caught in the high tide later on and drowned. But luckily, he went up 2 the shore and climbed over the fence after hearing thunder booming.

Exemption

YTD, I got a letter from the principal that was about exemption. Yes! I was exempted from Maths, Sci and Chinese! That's 3 out of 6 (not including IS and Jap), half! There were two pupils in my class, that were exempted from 4 subjects! Pro, hae?

Dota (II)

I like the hero, Razor, from Scourage. He is an Agility hero. And I think he is a mainly a DPS hero.

The items that will suit for him are:

Sange and Yasha (Orb Effect)
The Butterfly (For most Agility heroes)
Radiance (Goes with ulti)
MKB (Increase AS and damage)
Eye of Skadi (Pro item, can frost attack)

I always use this hero 2 vs real players. My best combo kills in a game is 110!!! (Without dying at all!!!) And I can kill all 5 heroes in one go, Triple Kills immediately in late game!!! Also, in late game, I can kill each hero like creeps, taking about a sec for each hero!!! Craz, ins't it? That's because I had a good combination items.
So, what's ur favourite hero? (Only if u play Dota)

Dota (I)

I think that I'm good, but not pro in dota.
In Term 2, I started playing Dota. At the first 3 weeks, I played with no AI, then the next 3 weeks, I played 2v1 (Easy), and after which, I tried 1v1 (Easy) for 4 weeks.
In Term 3, I improved on my skills in Dota like siao. At the first 2 weeks, I played 5v5 (Easy), then the next 2 weeks, I played 5v5 (Normal), and after which, I tried 1v5 (Easy) for 2 weeks. After that, I played 1v5 (Normal). I didn't dare 2 play with Insane as they level up like siao and also earn lots more gold for each creep killed and noe how 2 deny like siao.
Durind the Sept holidays, I played Dota every afternoon. I played with Meldric from class 1B and I won! Yes! I also played 2v5 (Insane) with my pri sch friend, Zi Hao, but sadly we lost.
So after the exams, I will start trying Insane. Let's see if I pro enough or not.

Earthquake?

YTD, my father said there was an earthquake in Indonesia and he felt it in his company. He described it as:" A loud sound, then everything shaking, light items dropping onto the ground, some parts of the ceiling dropping, cracks on walls. Even the director ran out 2 see what's happening!" But I didnt felt it in sch. Well, I dont noe if there was one at all.

Gastric Flu

YTD night, I had gastric flu and my stomach was aching like siao! I had 2 go 2 the toliet 2 pass motion at 11.30pm. The shit wwas so... grostesque. Evil-looking light brownish colour, pungent acrid smell, ... all these make me nauseous. Yuck! Later, I applied ointment on my stomach and went back 2 bedroom 2 sleep.
Later, about 2a.m., I woke up, stomach painful again. As the saying goes" History repeats itself", I had 2 pass motion again. Now, that was better and after relieving myself, I didi not feel any pain anymore. My problem was solved!

Thumdrive

I am really very suay with my stupid thumdrive!!!
2 weeks ago, I lost my thumdrive in com lab 1. 2morrow, I came back and sadly I can't find it. I went 2 find the techie and told him about my thumbdrive. Luckily, he had my thumdrive and gave it back 2 me. He also told me not to lose the thumdrive again and it was luckily that he found it.
Then, during sept holidays, my com crashed while I was typing password for my thumbdrive. So, my thumdrive ganna locked and cannot go in anymore until all info had been deleted. Till now, I haven't use my thumdrive. Wa lao so suay! All Sec 1 work no more in one flash!!!

I'm quite happy that Mr Chen, my Eng teacher, praised me YTD. I had offered a very good answer to a question and he said that it was very good. I noe this may seem lame but....
And also, this class was erm... a bit sick. HG gave sick ans to 2 questions, namely:"Brabraba wore a transparent dress to a sex party" and "A horny boy sat on the wet ground [because of cum] and played with his sex toys"

YTD, on 67 bus 2 sch, i sat behind Joey. I saw her sleep and lean to her right where another lady was sitting. Only that she will "bounce back" every few sec. The lady tried to move Joey's shoulder away but 2 no avail. I found it so funny that I laughed softly and even pointed this 2 my bro. Hee Hee...
